Julia Little Fisher

Mrs. Julia Little Fisher, 89, died at her home Wednesday, December 10, 2003. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Midway United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dave Cash will officiate. Interment wil follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born December 13, 1913 in Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur P. Little and Margaret "Maggie" McCall Little. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker and a registered nurse. She previously worked at Timrick Nursing Home, now Five Oaks Manor. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Madalene Fisher Smith, on August 4, 2003. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ben H. Fisher; a daughter, Brenda Seaford and her husband, Lonnie, of Concord; a son, Gray Fisher and his wife, Laura, of Kannapolis; a son-in-law, Larry C. Smith, Sr. of Kannapolis; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Midway United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 108 Bethpage Road, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
