Ms. Julie Ann Laury, 31, of 340 Knight Farm Road, China Grove, died Friday, February 4, 2005. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Barbara Watkins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born November 19, 1973 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of William Allen Thomas, Jr. of Salisbury and Opie Jane Steelman Campbell of Landis. She was employed as a waitress. Survivors include her mother, Opie Jane Steelman Campbell of Landis; father, William Allen Thomas, Jr. of Salisbury; step-father, Ecil Edward Campbell of Landis; a son, Tommy Dale Kirk, Jr. of the home; one brother, Johnny Allen Laury and his wife, Pamela, of Concord; aunts and uncles, Sarah Henry and Crystal Corriher and her husband, Joel, all of China Grove, Rachel Lunsford and her husband, David, of Kannapolis; and 10 cousins. Memorials may be sent to a fund for Tommy Dale Kirk, Jr., c/o Opie Jane Campbell, 709 S. Deal Street, Landis, NC 28088.
