June Shafer Wyrick

Mrs. June Shafer Wyrick, 75, of 1935 Angela Lane, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at Big Elm Nursing Center, following a number of years of declining health. A graveside service with interment to follow will be conducted 12 noon Friday, December 24, 2004, at Carolina Memorial Park. Mr. Eddie Arnette will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born July 16, 1929, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Staley James Shafer and Jettie Joann Lunsford Shafer. She was a retired nursing assistant. Survivors include a son, Bradford H. Wyrick and his wife, Sheila, of Kannapolis; two sisters, Erlene Finney of Kannapolis and Irene Barbee of Salisbury; four grandchildren, Bradford H. Wyrick II, Christine Deese, Angela Wyrick and Hanniah Wyrick; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Deese and Erin Deese.
