Junior Ray Keller

Mr. Junior Ray Keller, 79, of 2406 Moose Road, Kannapolis, died Sunday, August 27, 2006, at the Brian Center of Salisbury. Graveside services with interment to follow will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2006, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a daughter, Brenda Stirewalt, 202 W. 17th Street, Kannapolis. Born September 24, 1926, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Ernest Ray Keller and Gracie Mae Moore Keller. He was formerly employed with Charlotte Ford Tractor and Cannon Mills. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hooper Keller, who died October 24, 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Stirewalt of Kannapolis, Nancy Biggerstaff of Rockwell; a son, Guy Biggerstaff of Kannapolis; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
