Mr. Justin Michael Goodman, 32, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Tuckertown Reservoir, doing what he loved.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Sechrist will officiate. Interment will follow at West Concord Cemetery in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Friday at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Justin was born on January 16, 1994 in Concord. He was a son of Chad Eric Goodman of Troutman and Amy Leigh Hurst Hollar of Salisbury. He was employed with Matthews Greenhouse, where he worked as an irrigation specialist. Justin was a member of West Park Baptist Church in Rockwell.

He was an avid outdoorsman and a passionate fisherman, known especially for his love of catfishing. Justin found joy in the simple things—time on the water, being with his family, and caring for his beloved dogs. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love for the outdoors, and the deep love he had for his family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul David Hurst of Dover, TN, and Dorothy Robyn Parker Hurst of Lancaster, SC. His paternal grandpa Ronnie Goodman of Concord.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jacqueline Sue Goodman; his two sons, Graylen Henderson Goodman and Hayden Paul Goodman; his parents; his brother, Austin Lane Hollar; and paternal grandmother Elaine an husband Gary Newton, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
