Karen Ann Blend

Karen Ann Blend, age 68, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away on March 3, 2024. She was born on January 15, 1956, in Port Jefferson, New York.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Paul Blend will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Burial will be at 10:00 am Monday at Salisbury National Cemetery.

Karen is survived by her husband, Harvey Vom Lehn, her brothers Thomas (New York), Paul (Ohio), and William (Florida) Blend, and her sister Patrice Zirkelbach (South Carolina). She is also survived by her children Michael Batista and Alynn Blend. Grandchildren Robert Batista, Christina Batista and Cooper Hall. Nieces Bekah Blend Hibbert, Beth Blend O'Shaughnessy, Amy Zirkelbach, Samantha Blend and Nephews Alex Blend, Mark Zirkelbach and Benjamin Zirkelbach

She was preceded in death by her mother, Magdalen Casmir, her father, Thomas Blend, and her nephew, Matthew Blend.
