Karen Grayson Kennady

Karen Grayson Kennady passed away on October 20, 2022, in Kannapolis, N.C. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Calvary Church in the Chapel. The address is 5801 Pineville-Matthews Rd., Charlotte, NC 28226. The Chapel entrance faces Pineville-Matthews Rd. Pastor Nathaniel Pearce will officiate the service. Visitation will be at 11:00 and the service will begin at 11:30.

Karen retired from the City of Charlotte, having worked in Human Resources and Landscape Management Departments. She greatly enjoyed gardening and photography. Karen was born in Charlotte on August 30, 1950, to the late Shannon Howard Grayson and Ruby Sherrill Grayson. She is survived by a daughter, Christy Grayson, and a son, Keith Grayson, and two sisters, Gina Robinson and husband Chuck Robinson of Charlotte, and Nancy Johnson of Monroe, NC.
