Karen Lorraine Morrow Smith

Mrs. Karen Lorraine Morrow Smith, 63, passed away surrounded by her husband and daughter Thursday, November 23, 2023, at The Greens at Cabarrus in Concord.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Church. Rev. George Rhyne will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Church, prior to the service.

Mrs. Smith was born February 20, 1960 in Iredell County. She was a daughter of the late William Morrow and Carolyn Adams Morrow. Karen was a Lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Smith was a Customer Service Representative, in the Manufactured Home Supply business.

Mrs. Smith is survived by husband, Wallace Boyd Smith; daughter, Nelsie Lawing, and husband Aaron of China Grove; brother, David William Morrow, and wife Tracy of China Grove; sister, Kathy Haynes, and husband Carl of Salisbury; step-son, Wallace Boyd Smith, III, and wife Wendy of Salisbury; grandson, Joshua Lawing; five nieces; one nephew; and three great nieces.
