Kathleen Mary Bradshaw

Mrs. Kathleen Mary Stern "Kas" Bradshaw, 67, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, at her residence.

A private family graveside service will be held at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens at a later time. Rev. Dr. Steve Ayers will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born December 10, 1948 in Oakland, CA. She was a daughter of the late Melvin C. Stern and Mildred Newton Wotring. She worked for Mt. Pleasant Elementary School as a Kids Plus child care director. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Kas also loved working with arts and crafts.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister, Diane Mills.

Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her husband of 47 years Thomas “Tim” Bradshaw, Jr.; two daughters, Christine Dove of Concord, Pamela Heck and husband Mike of Marysville, KS; son, Timothy Bradshaw of El Cajon, CA; brother, Eric Stern of Santee, CA; sister, Pamela Stern and husband Dave Ringen of Pine Valley, CA; four grandchildren, Daniel Dove, Amanda Dove, David Heck, Kathleen Heck; and numberous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, 5970 Fairview Road #217, Charlotte, NC 28210.
