Kathleen Ford Henley

Mrs. Kathleen Ford Henley, 97, of 511 Bonita Drive, Landis, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at Big Elm Nursing Center. A graveside with interment to follow will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2006, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Sarah Weaver will officiate. The family will greet friends at the cemetery follow the service. Born November 8, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Preston Brooks Ford and Margaret Alice Lanier Ford. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. Her husband, Fred J. Henley, preceded her in death. Survivors include a niece, Elizabeth Hoke, with whom she made her home for four years; and several other nieces and nephews.
