Kathleen Louvina Long Ritch

Mrs. Kathleen Louvina Long Ritch, 96, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Carolina Memorial Park. Pastor Chris Sadler will officiate. Interment will follow.

Mrs. Ritch was born August 10, 1926 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Wilburn Long and Bessie Earnhardt Long. Mrs. Ritch worked for Cannon Mills for 40 years as a weaver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barron Ritch; and two brothers, Hayden and James Long.

Mrs. Ritch is survived by son, Frank Simpson and wife Jill of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Michele Kluttz and husband Adam and Marie Brown and husband Jimmy; three great grandchildren, Kourtney and Macie Rodwell and Jake Brown; and sister, Myrtle Bostic of Kannapolis.
