Kathleen Elizabeth Moore

Mrs. Kathleen Elizabeth Lentz Moore, 85, of Cress Loop Road, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, at Autumn Care Of Salisbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Moore was born July 24, 1926 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Lindsay A. Lentz and Irene Drye Lentz. She retired from working in several daycare centers in the area for many years. She was a member of Homestead Baptist Church in Kannapolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank William Moore, in 1998. Mrs. Moore is survived by two sons, Gene Moore of Salisbury and Kenneth Moore of Channelview, TX; two sisters, Bernice Reese of Wilmington and Coleen Rogers of Charlotte; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
