Kay Frances Perry (Reavis)

Mrs. Kay Frances Reavis Perry, 81, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Bethpage United Methodist Church. Rev. Marcus S. Portis and Rev. Duane Melton will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethpage United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:00 pm Sunday prior to the service.

Mrs. Perry was born on January 30, 1933 in Yadkin County. She was a daughter of the late George Calvin Reavis and Bessie Frances Dull Reavis. She retired as a bookkeeper at David Drye Company in Concord. Mrs. Perry was a member of Bethpage United Methodist Church. Kay’s kind heart, gracious spirit and legacy of encouragement lives on through her daughter, friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lee Perry.

Mrs. Perry is survived by her daughter, Karen R. Perry of Clemmons; sister, Jean R. Furr and husband, Jerry, of Concord; and brother, Bill Reavis and wife, Gail, of China Grove.
