Keith Allen Retterer

Mr. Keith Allen Retterer, 79, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011, at his residence. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Roberta Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Pennington and Rev. Chris Baker will officiate. The family will receive friends after the memorial service. At other times, the family will be at the home. Mr. Retterer was born October 31, 1931 in Warren, PA. He was the son of the late Frederick and Gladys Marie Haddock Retterer, He worked for Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union as a plumber. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Retterer attended Roberta Baptist Church and was a life long member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Keith leaves to cherish his memory of his family and wife of twenty-five years, Ira Scrandreth Retterer; daughters, Susan Canada and husband, George of Jamestown, NY, Mitzi Carlson and husband, Ernie and Tammy Turner and husband, Scott of Charlotte; sons, Daniel Lindenmuth and wife, Sherrie of Indian Trail and three sons from Clarendon, PA; sister, Lois Speaker of Warren, PA; 12 beloved grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his faithful canine companion, Toby.
