Ms. Kendra Sue Hardison, 39, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on a bright Sunday morning, September 17, 2006. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Hugh Foy will officiate. Ms. Hardison was born on October 20, 1966, in Kinston, NC. Kendra was the "princess" daughter of her parents, Kenneth Lee, Sr. and Carol Hardison. She graduated from Garringer High School in Charlotte and attended Martin Community College. Kendra fought a courageous battle much of her life as the victim of Juvenile Diabetes. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Kenneth Lee Hardison, Sr.; and her beloved aunt, Dean Hardison Sietmann. She is survived by her mother, Carol Price Hardison of Kannapolis; brothers, Kenneth Lee Hardison, Jr. and wife, Rebekah, of Kannapolis and Anthony Scott Hardison and wife, Tish of Stanly County; nieces, Danielle Hardison Osborne and husband, Jake, of Salisbury and Karlee Dean Hardison of Stanly County; nephews, Robert Mitchell Edwards of Houston, TX and Michael Kemp Edwards of Kannapolis. Kendra was also the proud new aunt of her great-nephew, Tucker Lee Osborne of Salisbury. Also surviving Kendra are two beloved kittens, Ginger and Buffy.
