Kenneth Jerald Allman

Mr. Kenneth Jerald Allman, 68, of 3645 Shuping Mill Road died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, April 1, 2005, at Rock Grove United Methodist Church. Rev. Billy Ervin and Rev. Paul Starnes will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at his residence. Mr. Allman was born May 8, 1936 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late D.C. Allman and Lois Deese Allman. He worked for Charlotte Pipe Foundry. He was a member of Rock Grove United Methodist Church. Mr. Allman is survived by his wife, Carolyn Overcash Allman; daughter, Merenda Overcash, and her husband, Fred, of Rockwell; son, Kilburn Allman, Sr., and his wife, Teresa, of Rockwell; sister, Kay Ritchie of Annapolis, MD; brother, Billy Joe Allman of Gold Hill; four grandchildren, Fred E. Overcash, III, Jerald Overcash, Kilburn Allman, Jr., Kody Allman; and four great grandchildren.
