Kenneth Floyd Parker's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Floyd Parker, 82, of 2002 Normandy Road, died Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm today, November 10, 2007, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Robert D. Howard will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Mr. Parker was born July 20, 1925 in Richfield, NC. He was a son of the late David Calvin Parker and Martha Stokes Parker. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He owned and operated his own trucking business for more than 20 years before retiring. His hobby was making guitars, singing and playing. He was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mitchell Parker and Truman Parker and two sisters, Mildred Ritchie and Gladys Sills.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife of 51 years Annie Scarboro Parker; two sons, Ronald L. Parker wife, Jacqueline, and Stephen A. Parker fianc e, Christine, and her daughter, Abbey, all of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, McKenzie L. Parker and Leah J. Parker; and 5 Nieces and Nephews.
