Larry Wayne Bowles

Mr. Larry Wayne Bowles, 65, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert James will officiate. Interment will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Bowles was born June 18, 1951 in Mooresville, NC. He was a son of the late Isaac C. Bowles and Gloria Dean Schrum Bowles. He was a former Boy Scout leader. He loved fishing and camping, and loved all of his family, especially his grandchildren and his dogs.

Mr. Bowles is survived by his wife, Lois Bowles; five children, Sandra Hunter, Andrea Sword and husband Kevin, Phillip Bowles and wife Olivia, all of Kannapolis, Teresa Wiseman and Christopher Bowles and wife Sandy, both of China Grove; brother, Terry Bowles and wife Pam of Landis; twenty-two grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
