Laurie Ann Cruse

Mrs. Laurie Ann Kiser Cruse, 45, of the Rimer Community in Concord, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 7, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Concord Church of the Nazarene, 2520 NC Hwy 49 N, Concord, NC 28025. Rev. Harold Davis, Jr. will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Tuesday at Concord Church of the Nazarene prior to the service.

Mrs. Cruse was born January 7, 1970 in Cabarrus County, NC. She was a daughter of the late Terry Kiser and Brenda Faye Kellis Kiser. She worked as a teacher assistant for Cabarrus County Schools, where she touched many lives of all that knew her. She was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. Laurie Ann enjoyed camping with friends and family at the beach. She likes arts and crafts. Laurie Ann was a people person. She was an active member of the Mt. Pleasant High School Booster Club. She had a warm, contagious smile, but most importantly, she was a devoted mother to her sons, and a loving wife.

Mrs. Cruse is survived by her husband of 23 years, Mark Cruse; sons, Jeremiah Stephen Cruse and Nicholas Elijah Cruse, both of the home; one brother, Travis Kiser, and wife, Brooke, of Kannapolis, NC; one sister, Tracy Martini, and husband, David, of Kannapolis, NC; one niece, Alexis Martini; step-mother, Linda Kiser of Concord, NC; and father and mother-in-law, Max and Ruth Cruse of Concord, NC.
