Lecia Darlene Bare Dennis

Mrs. Lecia Darlene Bare Dennis, 67, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at her home in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3:00 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Lecia was born July 15, 1957 in Iredell County. She was the daughter of the late Wiley Wade Bare and Mary Rose Cook Basinger. She was a manager for McDonald's. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching her TV stories, playing games on her phone and loved playing with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Duck" Steven Dennis; two sisters, Dixie Basinger and Wendy Virtue; and two brothers, Tommy Basinger and Daniel Basinger.

Lecia is survived by three daughters, Michelle Dennis and Melissa Valladares, both of Concord and Melody Lopez of Kannapolis; three sisters, Sissy Hogan of Rockingham, Gay Dennis of China Grove and Amanda Regan of Rockwell; three brothers, Joshua Bare of Concord, Joseph Bare of Rockingham and Wade Bare of South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Matthew Rayfield, Steven Rayfield, Trevor Whitlow, Alona Valladares, Alisa Valladares, Othniel Valladares and Ronen Valladares.
