Libbye Amanda Metz Bostic

Mrs. Libbye Amanda Metz Bostic, 77, of Kannapolis passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A private graveside service is scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Carolina Memorial Park. Pastor Holly Evensen will officiate.

Mrs. Bostic was born December 20, 1943 in Guilford County. She was a daughter of the late Clifton Oliver Metz, Sr. and Georgia Hanner Metz. She was a former member of Victory Temple. Mrs. Bostic was a homemaker who loved to cook, work in her garden, and be with family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Roger Dale Bostic, Sr.; two sons, William Marshall Oxendine, Jr. and Robert Shane Oxendine; and brother, Clifton Oliver Metz, Jr.

Mrs. Bostic is survived by daughter, Wendy Carol Harris and husband Rodney of Kannapolis; sister, Carolyn McCombs of Kannapolis; six grandchildren, Kristen Thomas, Brittany Dietz, Miranda Higgins, Jacob Higgins, Savannah Oxendine and Elizabeth Oxendine; and six great grandchildren.
