Lillian Nance Williams

Mrs. Lillian Nance "Doodle" Williams, 48, of 6020 Plum Road, Kannapolis, died Saturday, September 13, 2003. A memorial service is scheduled for 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at her home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the home. Mrs. Williams was born August 9, 1955 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of Violet Jones Nance, with whom she made her home, and the late Johnny William Nance. Mrs. Williams, in addition to her mother, is survived by a daughter, Johnnie Kay Melton of Kannapolis; two sisters, Bonnie Nance and Darlene Nance Ryder, both of Kannapolis; brother, John Nance, Jr. of Petersburg, VA; three grandchildren, Marquis McMillan, Monique Melton, and Jessica Bazan; a niece, Tabatha Ryder; a nephew, Carson Ryder; and a very special and loving friend, Eric Barnhardt.
