Lillie Mae Barnhardt Hilliard

Mrs. Lillie Mae Barnhardt Hilliard, 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 30, 2017.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Hillard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hilliard was born January 19, 1957 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Charlie Victor Barnhardt and Cora Belle Hatley Barnhardt. She was a medical transcriptionist for 39 years and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Lee “Ben” Hatley and Brady Barnhardt.

Mrs. Hilliard is survived by her husband, Craig Hilliard; a daughter, Jennifer Murphy of Maryland; a son, Phillip Hilliard of Salisbury; two sisters, Shelbie Jean Parrish and JoAnne Pennington, both of Kannapolis; and a brother, Bob Barnhardt of Kannapolis.
