Lillie Gertrude Brinkley Adcock

Mrs. Lillie Gertrude Brinkley Adcock, 93, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at The Living Center of Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at First Wesleyan Church. Rev. Scott Wheeler will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at the church.

Mrs. Adcock was born November 4, 1928 in Kannapolis. She was a daughter of the late Calvin Brinkley and Ruby Miller Brinkley. She was a long time active member of First Wesleyan Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Janet A. Voyles; and two sons-in-law, Tommy Voyles and Alvin Drye.

Mrs. Adcock is survived by her husband, Henry Owen Adcock; daughter, Brenda Adcock Hatley and husband Doug of Concord; four grandchildren, Chad, Todd, Tonya and Stephanie; nine great grandchildren, Winston, Peyton, Dalton, Morgan, Monica, Kelsey, Nathaniel, Owen and Mackenzie; and five great-grandchildren, William, Abigail, Abraham, Jensen and Emersyn.
