Mrs. Linda Crook Adams, 78, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, October 2, 2026, at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. George Morris will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm Friday at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.

Linda was born October 3, 1947 in Concord. She was the daughter of the late Calvin Cooper Crook and Martha Estell Sims Crook. She retired from Walmart as a photo technician. She was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting, cake decorating and computer games.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Butler Adams, Jr.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Jackie Lynn Adams of Landis; son, Clyde Butler Adams, III "Buddy" (Kristi) of Salisbury; six grandchildren, Britney, McKayla (Ashley), Ashton, Katelyn, Erica and Lindsay "Lulu" (Daniel); and six great grandchildren, Aniyah, Maverick, Ava, Brynna, Coast and Gavin.
