Ms. Linda Kay Hall Morris, 74, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Haven Parrott will officiate.
Ms. Morris was born April 18, 1943 in Concord. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Hall, Sr. and Louise Ingram Hall. She graduated from Evans Business College and worked for Cabarrus Memorial Hospital and area doctor’s offices as a medical secretary. She was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, watching NASCAR races and talking on the phone to friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Hall.
Ms. Morris is survived by her daughter, Kelly May and husband Johnny of Kannapolis; brother, Frankie Hall of Kannapolis; sister, Glenna Shaver of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Dylan May and Maggie May; a faithful cousin Betty Benson; as well as many wonderful friends and neighbors.
