Linda Carol Hartis

Ms. Linda Carol Hartis, 47, of 2207 Woodlawn Street, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, November 4, 2003. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born December 18, 1955, in Houston, Texas, she was a daughter of D. S. Hartis and Willie Hunsucker Hartis of Kannapolis. She was employed as a sales associate with Wal-Mart and was formerly employed at NorthEast Medical Center. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason Clarke. Survivors include her parents, D. S. Hartis and Willie Hunsucker Hartis of Kannapolis; a sister, Sharon Clarke and her husband, Cecil, of Cameron, NC; a nephew, Shannon Clarke of Valdosta, Georgia; two great-nieces, Whitley Agusta Clarke and Sierra Danielle Clarke; and several aunts and uncles.
