Linn Eugene Wilhelm

Mr. Linn Eugene Wilhelm, 62, of 116 Newell Avenue, died Friday, August 10, 2007, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. William Ketchie will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Mr. Wilhelm was born January 25, 1945 in Ft. Bragg, NC. He was a son of Dico Murphy Wilhelm and the late Ernest Hoke Wilhelm. He was a graduate of South Rowan High School. He worked for CPI Security as a Security Guard stationed at Concord Mills Mall. He formerly worked as a police officer for a combined 27 years working for Kannapolis Police Department and Avery County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Wilhelm, in addition to his mother, is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gail Story Wilhelm; three sons, Rev. David Wilhelm wife, Jill of Cochrane, Alberta, Canada, Jason Wilhelm and wife, Lution and Jesse Wilhelm all of Kannapolis; brother, Vaughn Wilhelm wife, Nancy of China Grove; step-daughter, Jatana Keziah husband, Kenny of Pensacola, FL; two step-sons, Len Allen wife, Lesa of Salisbury and Robbie Cook wife, Lueann of Lenoir; 2 Grandchildren, 13 Step-Grandchildren, 9 Step-Great Grandchildren.
