Lisa Ann Childers

Lisa Ann Childers, 47, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, November 21, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm Friday prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Lisa was born on April 21, 1967 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Haskel Childers and Evelyn Rogers Childers. She worked as a merchandiser for Metrolina Greenhouse.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her half sister, Charlotte Query.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Ed Helms; sister, Annette Everhart (Daniel) of Mooresville; brother, Dane Childers (Tammi) of Freemont, CA; two half brothers, Bill Query of Georgia and Stash Query of Midland; step-mother, Irene Childers of Kannapolis; step-son, Clint Helms (Sara) of Landis; step-grandson, Jackson Helms of Landis; two step-sisters, Jill Mauney (Mark) of Concord and Melissa Gardner (Buddy) of China Grove; and step-brother, Bob Hendricks (Angela) of Conover.
