Lloyd Edward Price

Mr. Lloyd Edward Price, 80, of 2126 Hopedale Street, Kannapolis, died Monday, April 3, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tim Jernigan will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born December 25, 1925, in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Ernest David Price and Lola Mae Tucker Price. He retired several years ago from Overnite Transportation in Charlotte. His wife, Lovenia Bost Price, preceded him in death on March 31, 2003. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Frye of Concord; two sons, David Price and Johnny Price and wife, Elaine, both of Kannapolis; two sisters, Ruby Price and Bernice Freeman, both of Kannapolis; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
