Lola Irene Honeycutt

Miss Lola Irene Honeycutt, 92, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at Transitional Health Services. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2006, at Lane Street Baptist Church. Dr. Greg Pierce will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Price Cemetery in Union County. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Friday. Miss Honeycutt was born on February 19, 1914 in Union County, a daughter of the late Adam P. Honeycutt and Sarah Baucom Honeycutt. She was educated in the Union County schools and retired from the spooler room of Cannon Mills, Plant No.1. She was an active member of Lane Street Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister Lynea H. Keziah of Monroe; two sisters-in law, and a number of nieces and nephews.
