Lorene Ruth Hardy

Ms. Lorene Ruth Hardy, 70, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021, peacefully in her loving home in Kannapolis.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Friday, February 5, 2021, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The service will also be live streamed at: https://www.ladysfuneralhome.com/live/. Rev. James Pauley will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Ms. Hardy was born October 22, 1950 in Alameda, CA. She was a daughter of the late James Edmond Hardy and Lorene Hazel Burton Hardy. She loved her family and friends and being outdoors. She always had a smile on her face and she loved everyone with compassion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith Tutterow.

Ms. Hardy is survived by two daughters, Shannon Newland and husband Pete and Donna Warr and husband Johnny, both of Kannapolis; son, Kenneth Tutterow of Landis; seven grandchildren, Patricia, Lisa and Michelle Ashby, Christopher and Courtney Polk, Christian Tutterow and Brandon Newland; great-granddaughter, Brandy Allen; two step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; and her granddog, Zoe.
