Louise Lewis Threatt

Mrs. Maggie "Louise" Lewis Threatt, 87, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at her home in Landis.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at West Lawn Memorial Park in the Mausoleum. Rev. Zachary Sizemore will officiate.

Louise was born November 20, 1938 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late Sam Lewis and Beulah May Lewis. She graduated from A.L. Brown High School. She retired from Landis Elementary where she worked as a teacher assistant for many years and also substituted. After retirement, she worked at Eastwood Kiddie College in Kannapolis teaching Pre-K. She was a Charter Member of Sloan Lake Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Threatt; daughter, Crystal Fleming; sister, Joyce Sexton (Jack); and two brothers, Paul Lewis (Norma) and Tommy Lewis.

Louise is survived by her son, Harry Threatt (Vickie) of Landis; brother, Sammy Lewis (Barlene) of China Grove; four grandchildren, Marshall Fleming (Heather), Debra Long (Dan), Troy Fleming and Amber Lundgren (Andrew); and 12 great grandchildren.
