Louise Watts Thompson

Mrs. Louise Watts Thompson, 94, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Barnhill and Rev. Marvin Goodnight will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Cane Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery in Snow Camp, NC.

Louise was born on August 25, 1928 in Alexander County. She was a daughter of the late Doc Solomon Watts and Farey Mae Watts. She retired from the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles in Alamance County where she was a clerk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Finley M. Thompson; two sisters; and five brothers.

Louise is survived by a daughter, Sandra Craft; two step-sons, Butch Thompson and Mickey Thompson; one brother, Fred Jenkins and wife Geri; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
