Lucille Caraway Miller

Mrs. Lucille Caraway Miller, 82, of 951 Scenic Drive, Graham, and formerly of Kannapolis, died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Piedmont Christian Home in High Point. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2005, at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Dr. Steve Mowery will officiate. Born February 4, 1923, in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Caraway and Martha Helms Caraway. She retired several years ago from the Washcloth Department of Cannon Mills. She was a member of Bethpage Presbyterian Church of Kannapolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burt Miller, who died May 19, 1977; and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Miller Dry and her husband, Jack, of Graham; two grandchildren, Kevin Dry of Graham and Jennifer Dry Walton and her husband, Brian, of West Jefferson; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Dry and Kole Walton.
