Mrs. Lynda Lou Farmer Sechler, 70, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.
A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Monday, August 24, 2015, at Nazareth Community Church. Pastor Mike Shoaf will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home in Kannapolis.
Mrs. Sechler was born December 21, 1944 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Robert Louis Farmer and Veva Clyde Hodge Farmer. She was a member of Nazareth Community Church.
Mrs. Sechler is survived by her husband, Billy Sechler; daughter, Jennifer Hill Ridgell and husband Chris of Granite Quarry; son, Robert “Robbie” William Hill of Winston-Salem; sister, Vickie Sue Farmer Hartsell and husband Rick of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Britny Morgan Hill, Landon Christopher Ridgell and Kamden Andrew Ridgell; great granddaughter, Shaelyn Rae Hill; mother in law, Margaret Hooper Sechler of Kannapolis; sister-in-law, Tammy Sechler Kilby and husband Tom of Kannapolis; two nieces, Elaine Hartsell McCaskill of Faith and Kaitlyn Marie Kilby of Alpharetta, Georgia. She also leaves behind her four-legged babies, Maggie, MiMi, Pudgie, Missy Bird and Cookie.
