Mabeline Harrington Beam

Mrs. Mabeline Harrington Beam, 89, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

A private graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at West Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Mark McRacken will officiate.

Mrs. Beam was born December 27, 1927 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Claude Odell Harrington and Rosa Maggie Mae Kluttz. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Mt. Ulla. Mrs. Beam was retired from textile with over 37 years service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy O. Beam, Sr. in September 1993.

Mrs. Beam is survived by two daughters, Becky Kluttz and husband Larry of Mt. Ulla and Phyllis Iseley and husband Don of Burlington; two sons, Roy O. Beam, Jr. and wife Debbie of Salisbury and Ray Beam and wife Jan of Hartsville, KY and nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to Gordon Hospice House 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625. Mrs. Beam loved flowers, so any flowers may be sent to Lady's Funeral Home, 268 N. Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
