Mae Carolyn Waggoner Brown

Mrs. Mae Carolyn Waggoner Brown, 88, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021, at her residence in Landis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Edwards will officiate. It will also be live streamed here: www.ladysfuneralhome.com/live. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brown was born November 26, 1932 in Iredell County. She was a daughter of the late Harry Bell Waggoner and Eula Lipe Waggoner. Mrs. Brown loved to clean, cook, spend time with her family and looking after Rowdy her cat. Her favorite places to visit were Las Vegas and the Beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Brown, Jr.; three brothers, Lloyd Willis Waggoner, Richard Waggoner and Melvin Waggoner; and sister, Ann Elizabeth Davis.

Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons, James Anthony Brown and wife, Tina of Kannapolis and Johnny Eric Brown and girlfriend, Angela Pender of Landis; sister, Jane Evans of Kannapolis; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
