Margaret Lee Smith

Miss Margaret Lee Smith, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Michael Roper will officiate.

Miss Smith was born November 13, 1926 in Paw Creek, NC. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Wilbur Smith and Maude Gregg Smith. She retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after 41 years of service. Margaret was a kind and giving person who loved everybody. She was generous with her time to help others. She always had a wonderful and caring spirit about her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Willie Elizabeth Cope; and her brother, Fred L. Smith.

Miss Smith is survived by a sister, Annette Copeland of Concord; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Saturn Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their love and care of Margaret.
