Margie Elliott Neal

Mrs. Margie Elliott Neal, 99, of Manning Drive, Charlotte, died Monday, May 5, 2008. A graveside service for Mrs. Neal will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery, Concord. The Rev. Dr. W. Carter Loftin of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church will officiate. Mrs. Neal was born in Salisbury on August 16, 1908, a daughter of the late Luther V. Elliott and Bessie Rufty Elliott. She was a member of The Holy Comforter Episcopal Church. In 1983, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford S. Neal. Survivors include a niece, Margaret E. Bell of Charlotte. The family wishes to express special thanks to her care giver, Betty Stallings, for all her love and care.
