Marianne Edwards Carlisle

Marianne Edwards Carlisle, 35, of 1046 Lenwood Lane, Kannapolis, died Sunday, February 15, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Friday, February 20, 2009, at Unity Baptist Church. Dr. Tommy Wensil will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of Mary Lou Carlisle, 1463 Cove Road, Kannapolis. Marianne was born September 9, 1973 in Concord, NC. She was a daughter of Patricia Moore Haney and the late Donald C. Edwards. She worked as a waitress. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Allen Brent Carlisle; a daughter, Rebecca Dawn Livengood of Concord; sons, Allen Brent Carlisle, Jr. and his friend Robin Dampier, Austin Carlisle, and Tyler Carlisle, all of Kannapolis; a brother, Donald Edwards of High Point; a sister, Lou Anne Carlisle of Kannapolis; five grandchildren, Hailey Carlisle, Harmony Blunt, Samiah Blunt, Allen Brent Carlisle III, and Alexus Carlisle.
