Marie Stepp Bridges

Mrs. Marie Stepp Bridges, 73, of 6011 Blue Ridge Drive, Concord, NC, died Thursday, October 2, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 PM Saturday, October 4, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Forbis Kivett will officiate. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:15 PM Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Bridges was born May 18, 1930 in East Flat Rock, NC. She was a retired Registered Nurse at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital with over 20 years of service after graduating from Louise Harkey School of Nursing. Mrs. Bridges is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence V. "Pete" Bridges, Jr., and a brother, Ravanelle Stepp. Mrs. Bridges is survived by two sons, Thomes David Bridges and his wife, Sharon, of Mooresville, NC and James R. "Rusty" Bridges and his wife, Carol, of Concord; one brother, Dr. Bob Stepp of Thomasville, NC; four grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Cabarrus County, P.O.
