Marilynn Burr Houck

Mrs. Marilynn Burr Houck, 94, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Universal Healthcare in Concord.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Mooresville. Rev. Vincent Curtin, S.J. will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 am Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Houck was born January 5, 1923 in Baltimore, MD. She was a daughter of the late LeRoy Nelson Houck and Marguerite Dorothy Buckman Houck.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Brumbaugh; her brother, Gregory Raymond Houch; and sister, Alice Lorraine Houck.

Mrs. Houck is survived by two daughters, Marguerite "June" Clancy and husband Seamus of Salisbury and Melodie Ann Kohlenbush and husband William of The Villages, FL.
