Marjorie Howard Moorman

Mrs. Marjorie Howard Moorman, 100, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, in Salisbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Tom Cabaniss will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moorman was born November 20, 1921 in Daviess County, KY. She was a daughter of the late John Robert Howard and Adah Miller Howard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, George Moorman; and daughter, Frieda Ward.

Mrs. Moorman is survived by daughter, Linda Wagoner and husband, Jerry of Salisbury; sister, Carol Faye Allen of Owensboro, KY; four grandchildren, Brent Dowell, Jefferey Ward, Susan Moore and Roger Ward; and three great grandchildren.
