Martha Deal Barrineau

Mrs. Martha Deal Barrineau, 73, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, May 31, 2013, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeff Upright will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 4:45 pm Friday, prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barrineau was born on September 28, 1939 in Kannapolis. She was a daughter of the late Ray Gilbert Deal and Georgia Harrington Deal. Mrs. Barrineau retired from Cannon Mills as a supervisor in the pillow case department.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wilbur Barrineau, Sr.; daughter, Martha Ann Bond; son, Joseph Wilbur Barrineau, Jr.; and brother, Gary Deal,

Mrs. Barrineau is survived by her daughter, Brenda Culick and husband Terry of Lake City, SC; two sisters, Barbara Chesson of Lexington and Claudine Arts of Rockwell; two brothers, Glenn Deal of Rockwell and Marvin Deal of Welcome; two grandchildren, Beau Cranford of Kannapolis and Jamie Quintero of Mooresville and three great grandchildren, Issac King, Brandon King and Trey Quintero.
