As a Christian Minister, I would like to extend to you my sindere condolences for the loss of your father, Martin. Though we are not personally acquainted, I have experienced the loss of a father and know what a great loss this is to you. After reading the comments from your friends and families, your father was deeply loved and respected by all. His legacy will continue in you as you reflect his wonderful qualities just like Jesus Christ reflected his father's qualities. Almighty God is a God of love and He understands your pain and sorrow. Through Jesus, He has given us a wonderful hope of a resurrection for our lost loved ones. At John 11:11-44, John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4 we find comforting words regarding the future and the hope of seeing them again. We have been taught the Lord's Prayer, encouraged to pray for God's Kingdom. In God's Heavenly Kingdom there is no sickness, death, pain or sorrow. When we pray for His Kingdom to be "here on earth" we are asking for those same conditions to be here for all of us to enjoy. Imagine a world without pain, sorrow and death. I have found this hope comforting and I hope you will too. May the God of underserved kindness shower you with the support of friends and family as you mourn the loss of your father.
