Marty Lee Allen

Marty Lee Allen, 55, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Bethpage United Methodist Church. Rev. Duane Melton and Rev. Marc Portis will officiate. Entombment will follow at Bethpage United Methodist Church Columbarium.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 pm Thursday prior to the service at Bethpage United Methodist Church.

Marty was born September 16, 1958 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of Mary Gibson Allen Lee of Kannapolis and the late Leon Pete Allen. He was an electrician at UNC-Charlotte.

In addition to his mother, Marty is survived by his step-father, James Keith Lee; daughter, Taylor Allen of Boone; two sisters, Crystal Houston and husband, Dale of Mt. Ulla and Michelle Bentley and husband, Joe of Charlotte; and brother, Jimmy Lee and wife, Carrie of El Paso, TX.
