Mr. Marvin Thomas Todd, II, 42, of 1126 Emanuel Street, Kannapolis, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center after a sudden illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Enoch Lutheran Church. Rev. John Mark Beam and Rev. Constance Garrett will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Todd was born February 15, 1962 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of Guy Alexander Todd of Concord and Lois Jane Hilton of Kannapolis. He was a truck driver. Mr. Todd, in addition to his parents, is survived by his wife Marla Frances Overcash Todd; son, Jay Alexander Todd, Sr. of Kannapolis; daughter, April Hursey Poteat of Kannapolis; two sisters, Nancy Todd Jackson of Holly Springs, NC and Pamela Lynnett Helms of Kannapolis; brother, Phillip Todd of Matthews; six grandchildren, Nate, Brennen, Laken, Brooke, Alex, and Brayden.
