Mary Mantooth Cline

Mrs. Mary Annie Mantooth "MawMaw" Cline, 88, passed away peacefully Friday, December 9, 2011, at her residence following a fall. A funeral service is scheduled for noon Monday, December 12, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ron Loflin and Rev. Ray Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Cline was born June 17, 1923 in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of the late Frank Everette Mantooth and Ima Bell Cline Mantooth. Mrs. Cline retired from Cannon Mills plant #1 washcloth department where she worked as a folder. She was a very active member at High Rock Community Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, J. W. Cline, Jr. and her son, Jay Lynn Cline. Mrs. Cline is survived by daughter, Bobbie Cline of Richfield; grandchildren, Keith Honeycutt, Chad Honeycutt and Karri Wensil and great grandchildren include, Cameron Honeycutt, Casey Honeycutt and Nathan Honeycutt.
