Mary Lee Dunn

Mrs. Mary Lee Casey Dunn, 76, of 2303 Kannapolis Highway, Concord, died Friday, April 11, 2003, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Everette Cox will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born June 10, 1926, in Wilson County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Carlo Casey, Sr. and the late Anna Lucas Casey. Mrs. Dunn was formerly employed as a nurse's aide at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital, now NorthEast Medical Center, and Concord Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Redden Dunn, Sr., who died in 1988, and a son, Joesph Redden Dunn, Jr., who died in 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Anna Furr and her husband, George, of the home; three sons, Carlton Ray Dunn and his wife, Margie, of Macclesfield, NC, Charles Raymond Dunn and his wife, Janet, of Clayton, NC, Richard "Ricky" Dunn of Goldsboro; one brother, Carlo "Shorty" Casey and his wife, Ann, of Concord; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
